The products from the DuoProtection collection are made more and partly with melted horse fat. This is done today in a small-scale smelter where the product is still made in a traditional way.

Horse fat is an exceptionally good and healthy fat. Horse fat contains Glycerine, Vitamin A and D and Omega 3,6 and 9 and also many antibacterial substances.

Horses are noble animals and generally have a good life and receive the best food. The fat that comes from horses is therefore of an exceptionally high quality. In the processing we use three types of fat, namely mane fat, belly fat and skin fat. These three types of fat are melted and packaged without additives.

The melted fat is processed into the products from the DuoProtection collection, such as the Duo Hoof en Duo Leather.

Duo Hoof

Duo Hoof is made from horse fat and is therefore 100% natural. Horse fat contains Glycerine, Vitamin A & D. Glycerine maintains the moisture balance and vitamin A & D is good for horn growth.

Experience has shown that melted horse fat is absorbed almost immediately into the hoof wall. Duo Hoof is a caring, nourishing and supportive product for the hooves.

Duo Leather

Duo Leder protects and nourishes the leather. The Glycerine in the horse fat ensures that the leather remains slightly moist, which prevents drying out and cracking. Leather is a natural product and it is therefore good to treat it with a natural fat.

Leather gets the right nutrition by using Duo Leather. A big advantage is that Duo Leather is absorbed almost immediately into the leather, so it does not leave marks.
