Duo Hoef 1 ltr. From experience we know that most farriers are against greasing hooves, because it closes the hoof wall. Duo Hoef does not do that. Because Duo Hoef is 100% animal oil (melted horse fat) it is absorbed directly into the hoof wall.

Synthetic substances, fatty and vegetable products seal the hoof wall, which makes it look nice on the outside temporarily, but which makes the hoof dry from the inside and thus increases the chance of cracks and crumbling hooves. That is why Duo Hoof does not contain any additives.

Horse fat contains Glycerine and Vitamins A and D. Glycerine attracts moisture and the action of Vitamins A and D results in faster growth of the horn and a better structure of the hoof. It has been irrefutably proven that Duo Hoef improves, maintains and strengthens the hooves.

For bad hooves we advise to treat the hoof with Duo Hoof every day for 14 days. Then every other day for 14 days and then twice a week all year round.

Duo Hoof is not just for bad hooves. A good hoof also deserves the necessary care. That is why we advise everyone who uses Duo Hoof to grease the hooves of your horse or pony at least twice a week. Stroke from the coronary band downwards and grease the entire hoof well. After 2 to 3 weeks you will notice results in the hoof. Also grease once a week for dry frog (the bottom of the hoof).
