QHP Eggbutt Snaffle Double Jointed Anatomical 14 mm Sweet Iron. A double-jointed eggbutt snaffle is a simple, standard bit that is well-accepted by most horses. This, combined with the Sweet Iron material on the mouthpiece, stimulates salivation and ensures better acceptance of the bit.

The use of fixed rings (egg-butt snaffle) creates a more stable position in the horse's mouth than with a loose ring snaffle. This, combined with the double-jointed mouthpiece, distributes pressure evenly across the tongue, resulting in a less harsh impact on the palate.

The mouthpiece of this bit is 14 mm thick and has large rings starting at size 12,5 cm. Sizes 9,5, 10,5, and 11,5 cm come with smaller rings suitable for ponies.

Sweet Iron stimulates salivation in horses, which increases their acceptance. The blue-colored Sweet Iron material oxidizes with use, releasing a slightly sweet flavor that encourages horses to accept the bit more readily.
