QHP Anatomical Double Jointed Snaffle 14 mm Sweet Iron. This horse bit features long shanks on both sides that support the rider and the horse during steering, preventing the bit from being easily pulled through the mouth.

The double-jointed mouthpiece moves freely, allowing it to adapt to the horse's mouth. The double-jointed mouthpiece rests freely in the mouth and exerts pressure on the tongue, cheeks, and corners of the mouth. This, combined with the Sweet Iron material, ensures easy acceptance in the horse's mouth. The Sweet Iron mouthpiece stimulates saliva production and releases a taste that horses find pleasant.

The shanks of this snaffle bit are 14 cm long for sizes up to and including 11,5 cm, which are highly suitable for ponies. Sizes from 12,5 cm onwards come with 16 cm long shanks.

Sweet Iron stimulates salivation in horses, which increases their acceptance. The blue-colored Sweet Iron material oxidizes with use, releasing a slightly sweet flavor that encourages horses to accept the bit more readily.
