Our terms and conditions

Order at Equestrian Gierman

You can easily order by selecting the desired color and size with the article. Here you can immediately see whether the item is in stock or whether the item can be ordered. Then add the item to your shopping cart. When you have completed the order you go to checkout. Here you follow the steps that the computer indicates with regard to contact information and possible delivery address.

What to do after your order

After receiving your order you will receive an order confirmation. If an item cannot be delivered from stock or if there are other special circumstances, this will be reported in this e-mail. Do you want to be sure whether an article is available or do you want to know in advance what the delivery time of an article is, please contact contact us by sending an email to [email protected]

As soon as the order has been sent by Ruitersport Gierman, you will receive a shipping confirmation by e-mail. This way you know exactly when the order will arrive. In this shipping confirmation you will find all the necessary information regarding the parcel shipment. All our packages are sent via PostNL. For shipments outside the Netherlands, it is possible that another carrier will take over the shipment. If you have not received the e-mail, please check your junk e-mail folder or contact us contact without obligation.

You can pay in the different ways below. All our payments are processed through Buckaroo Payment Service Provider† You will receive further information during checkout:

Ideal

This is possible if you have a bank account with internet banking. This is actually the best payment method. You pay within the familiar payment environment of internet banking and the goods are sent immediately.

PayPal

With PayPal you can send and receive payments online in a safe, easy and economical way. Many online buyers are rightly afraid to give online banking information to people or companies they don't know. PayPal then offers a solution to act as a safe intermediary. That way, your information does not fall into the wrong hands and you remain safe.

By prepayment

You transfer the relevant amount to Buckaroo. This is the trusted payment environment that we work with. When the payment is received, the goods are sent immediately.

Bancontact / Mister Cash

Bancontact/Mister Cash is one of the most used payment methods for online payments in Belgium. Payment with Bancontact/Mister Cash is very easy for you as a customer. On the payment page, select Bancontact/Mister Cash as payment method. A secure connection is then made and you can select your own bank. After this you will end up in a trusted internet banking environment and you can log in.

Credit Card

Carte Bancaire is the most commonly used payment card for online payments if you come from France. Previously, some of the cards were issued under the name Carte Bleue. The payment card is also popularly called that. Carte Bancaire is the local payment card and is used by almost all French people.

Teacher

Maestro is MasterCard's SEPA debit card. It is a preloadable payment card with which you can make (online) purchases within Europe. As with MasterCard, the security protocol MasterCard SecureCode provides additional security here too. This leads to a better customer experience. 

MasterCard

This is one of the most important credit cards, both nationally and internationally. Because credit card details are sensitive, Buckaroo processes these transactions in its own payment environment, so that we do not see your credit card details. A pleasant solution in the context of AVG.

Visa

Like MasterCard, this is one of the most important credit cards, both nationally and internationally. Sofort

Sofort from Klarna (formerly SOFORT Banking) is a simple and direct payment method that is used internationally. If you come from Germany, Belgium or abroad, you can easily pay by bank transfer via our own online banking system. The payment method is comparable to an online transfer and although the usual receipt term for transfers also applies here, confirmation can be given immediately that the transfer has been initiated by your own bank.

V Pay

V PAY is the SEPA debit card brand of Visa Europe. With this debit card you can safely and easily make online and offline payments throughout Europe. V PAY is issued by numerous foreign banks. It is then integrated into the local existing payment card programs (debit cards) of the participating banks. For example, there are already more than 10 million V PAY cards in circulation in Germany.

Packing errors

Zadelmakerij en Ruitersport Gierman packs the goods in a proper way. The products are checked for product defects before shipment. Despite careful packing and packaging, something can go wrong during this process. Report this within 24 hours of receiving the package so that we can take action.

Pricing

All prices mentioned in the web shop include the legally established VAT in the Netherlands (9% or 21%). Type and input errors reserved. No rights can be granted to previously published prices.

Warranty

Of course there can always be something wrong with a product. We will do our utmost to find a suitable solution together with you. The manufacturer's warranty is valid from the date of purchase in combination with the receipt or invoice. Manufacturing or material defects are acknowledged under the manufacturer's warranty. Guarantees do not apply to wear and tear, loss of rhinestones and broken zippers on clothing, boots and shoes. If other repairs or repairs to the product have been carried out elsewhere than by Ruitersport Gierman or the relevant supplier, the warranty will lapse immediately. Horse riding remains a sport where, among other things, clothing and other articles come into contact with other products. This can cause wear and tear which is seen under normal use. The relevant supplier from which the product comes will at all times assess the complaint.

Lead-time

If you order before 17:00 and the item is in stock, it will be shipped the same day (working days Mon - Fri). No rights can be granted to the indication of the delivery time. Any subsequent deliveries will be sent free of charge unless expressly stated otherwise. For products that are urgently ordered from one of our suppliers at the request of the customer, it is possible that we pass on part of the extra transport costs to the customer. This is always done after mutual consultation and after approval by the customer.

Available on order – inquire about delivery time

Items that are not in stock and have the status "Available to order - inquire about the delivery time", will be ordered from our suppliers after placing your order. As soon as we have received the relevant article, we will ensure that it is forwarded urgently. If you want to be sure of the delivery time, please contact us in the first instance contact contact us so that we can pass on an indication to you. 

Delivery time 3-5 workdays

Various articles show the delivery time of 3-5 working days. These items are not in stock in our physical store, but are in stock at the supplier. Our inventory system is linked to the supplier's inventory system. As a result, these items are delivered with a maximum of 5 working days after placing your order. If multiple items are ordered, your order will be delivered to you in one shipment. Partial shipments are unfortunately not possible. In this case, the delivery time for Belgium, Germany and France is 5-7 working days. For the other countries, the delivery time will be communicated by email with track & trace information.

Shipping Confirmation

As soon as the order has been sent by Ruitersport Gierman, you will receive a shipping confirmation by e-mail. This way you know exactly when the order will arrive. In this shipping confirmation you will find all the necessary information regarding the parcel shipment. If you have not received the e-mail, please check your junk e-mail folder or contact us contact without obligation. 

All our packages are sent via Post NL. For shipments outside the Netherlands, PostNL may cooperate with another carrier who will take over the shipment upon arrival in the country of destination.

Delivery at pick-up location

If you have chosen to have the package delivered to a collection location, you must pick up the package within one week after delivery. When the package is returned due to non-collection, the shipping costs incurred will be deducted from the invoice.

Addressing

For shipment we use the address that the customer enters on the website. Responsibility for the correct entry of address details is entirely for the customer. Any costs incurred by entering a (partially) incorrect address will be passed on to the customer. The invoice is added to the order. The shipping address is also the billing address.

Reviews

A few days after you have received the products you will receive an e-mail with the question whether you want to place a review about Ruitersport Gierman. The reviews are collected by Kiyoh and checked for authenticity. All collected reviews come from someone who has made a purchase at Ruitersport Gierman. If this is not the case, for example because products or services were provided for free or there was a paid collaboration, this will be clear from the review. Kiyoh does everything it can to prevent fake reviews by checking whether this person is known to Ruitersport Gierman and, where necessary, requesting proof of purchase if in doubt. Fake reviews will be removed by Kiyoh.

All reviews that Ruitersport Gierman collects come in via the Kiyoh platform. All reviews are checked for authenticity. This way you can be sure that the reviews you read here come from real customers. After purchase, Ruitersport Gierman invites all customers to leave a review. If it is not certain that a review comes from a customer who has purchased something, Kiyoh will ask for proof of purchase via Ruitersport Gierman. This prevents fake reviews. If a review is posted after products or services have been delivered for free or there was a paid collaboration, this will be clearly stated.

Gift cards

Gift vouchers are available at our store in various amounts. Gift vouchers must be redeemed in one go. No refunds are given on gift cards. 

Returns

If you have purchased a product that you are not satisfied with, you can return it. This can be done in 2 ways:

In the store in Tilburg (the Netherlands) or send as a package.

The invoice has been added to the package you have received. Send the (copy) invoice together with the return form and return goods with sufficient postage. The costs and the shipping risk of the return are for the account of the buyer. We also reserve the right to deduct the shipping costs if you return an item outside the return period.

After receiving the product, we assess whether the return conditions have been met. If that is the case, the amount of the goods will be refunded within 14 days to the bank account with which the order was paid.

Return conditions

The following return conditions apply to both in-store returns and returns by post:

The receipt or invoice is either presented in the store or sent to us with the return shipment. The product is unused and in new condition (i.e. without hair and dirt). The product is packed in the original packaging with the product labels present.

You cannot return items ordered on special request.

When returning by post, the following additional conditions apply:

You return the goods to us within 14 days, together with the return form completed by you and the (copy) invoice:

The package is sufficiently stamped! Unstamped or insufficiently stamped packages will be refused by us.
